Amanda Hayes
Amanda is a mother of 3 children ages 17-22. She attended Wittenberg University and received her BS in Biology. When her youngest child was an infant, she had the opportunity to go back to school while living in Washington state and received her MACTE primary credentials. As a Montessori child herself, she has a lot of passion about Montessori education. Amanda feels very fortunate to have lived all over the United States and has been able to teach at many wonderful schools! Now she has settled in at Juniper Montessori, for her 16th year of teaching!
Rachel Voelker
Rachel is from Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with Bachelors degrees in Secondary Education and Spanish. She taught English to adults mainly from Latin America in downtown Cincinnati for several years. Wanting to teach younger children, she taught at a local Montessori school and fell in love with the Montessori method in 2013. She was trained and taught basic Spanish and handwriting to 3-6 year-olds at that school for eight years. It has been a wonderful journey over the past 4 years working with Amanda in our Juniper Montessori community!
